The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant weekend. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. They even left a delicious cake to welcome us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful countryside and woods around the cottage. It was great to have so many walking routes right on our doorstep, without needing to drive anywhere.
There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the stairs in the cottage were steep and narrow, which could be a problem for some guests, especially those with mobility issues.

Lovely secluded cottage in a village setting. Beautiful grounds with several places for sitting in the sun. Excellent location with easy access to supermarkets, shops, and Forest attractions.
The stairs were extremely steep, making it difficult to navigate. the entrance to the drive was narrow and awkward, especially when coming from one direction.
